Southpac Certifications | 10 June 2025
While they had been ISO 9001 certified for a number of years, they were ready for more than just compliance. They were looking for a better system, a better partner, and a better future. Since then, the business has grown rapidly, evolved structurally, and set its sights firmly on what comes next.
At the time of transfer, the company was operating with a team of 35 full-time employees on a three-acre site in Yeppoon. Since then, the business has completed a strategic merger with a competitor of similar size, effectively doubling its workforce. Revenue has increased by 50 percent, and operations have moved to a larger facility 40 kilometres away in Rockhampton.
The acquisition brought new talent and new opportunities. It also created the need to unify processes across both organisations.
Rather than simply merging operations, All Industries Group used the opportunity to upgrade their internal systems. A full IT transformation followed, including the transition to a SharePoint-based environment. Their certified Quality, Safety, and Environmental Management Systems are now entirely cloud-based.
This shift brought improved accessibility, better control of documentation, and enhanced security. It also positioned the business to manage compliance more efficiently across a growing workforce.
Their most recent triannual ISO audit was the first conducted through SharePoint. The Southpac Certifications auditor, who had previously worked with the business, was invited to complete a full week on-site to thoroughly review the updated systems.
The audit was comprehensive, and the outcome was a strong reflection of the team's preparation and capability. Only one minor non-conformance was recorded, related to a routine policy update.
Reflecting on the result, Managing Director Trent Miles said:
“This time around is actually a good example of the collective competence and resilience of our business and the people in it.”
The team approached the audit not as a challenge to overcome, but as an opportunity to validate the systems they had worked hard to improve.
Managing rapid growth is rarely straightforward. Even a 10 percent increase can stretch systems and teams. All Industries Group experienced 40 percent growth in just three months, while also onboarding a new business and preparing for a major audit.
The management systems manager, responsible for preparing the business for the audit, carried significant pressure throughout the year. Despite this, the team remained steady. Their ability to operate effectively under that pressure is a testament to their internal culture and commitment.
With their Integrated Management System now fully embedded and operating effectively, All Industries Group is preparing to extend its certifications further. The next step is ISO 27001:2022 certification for Information Security Management.
This move reflects a proactive approach to evolving risk and a recognition of the growing importance of secure systems in serving their clients. Once again, they will work with Southpac Certifications to support the next phase of their journey.
The story of All Industries Group demonstrates what is possible when certification is used as a tool for growth. Their transfer to Southpac was not the end of the journey. It was the start of a smarter, stronger, more resilient business.
They are not just maintaining their systems. They are expanding, adapting, and using their certification framework to stay one step ahead.
