No company is bulletproof—not even the Pentagon or CIA. Everyone has been hacked at some point. While we might expect these organisations to be leaders in cybersecurity, we understand that it requires targeted effort required to do that work. That's what has changed the game.

It’s not about what we find, it’s about how we deal with what we find. If the system’s broken from an audit finding, it means it’s broken for the business. It means it needs improving.

ISO 9001 Frequently asked questions
ISO 9001 is an international standard that specifies requirements for a quality management system (QMS). Organisations use the standard to demonstrate their ability to consistently provide products and services that meet customer and regulatory requirements.
ISO 9001 certification is suitable for any organisation, regardless of its size or the sector it operates in, that wishes to improve its operational performance and demonstrate high levels of quality assurance.
By achieving QMS certification, organisations improve quality and efficiency, higher customer satisfaction levels, enhance credibility and competitiveness in the market, and potentially lower costs due to reduced waste and improve operational efficiency.
Discuss with one of our friendly team today about how to get iso 9001 certification for your organisation!
To begin the certification process, your organisation needs to implement a quality management system (QMS) that complies with the requirements of ISO 9001. This involves designing processes and procedures that meet the standard's criteria. Once you have your system implemented, request a quote from our team at Southpac Certifications, and we will prepare a proposal for your certification.
Achieving ISO 9001 certification is a two-stage process. Stage 1 includes a documentation review by your auditor, who will determine your readiness to progress to the Stage 2 audit, which is generally carried out onsite at your premises. Once you are certified, your auditor will return for annual surveillance audits in Years 2 and 3, before a re-certification audit the following year to restart the certification cycle.
If your Quality Management System is implemented and ready for audit, certification can generally take 1 – 2 months, depending on how prepared you are for the Stage 2 certification audit, and your auditor's availability.
There is typically anything from a 2 – 6 week gap in between your Stage 1 review and Stage 2 certification audit. You can discuss your options and timeline with our team.
requires ongoing compliance with the standard, including regular internal audits, annual surveillance audits and a re-certification audit every three years.
In essence, ISO certification is a documented guarantee that a specific product, process or system complies with ISO requirements. In Australia and New Zealand, this certification can only be provided by a Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) that is accredited by JASANZ - the Joint Accreditation System of Australia and New Zealand.
Southpac Certification is accredited by JASANZ, meaning we have been through the rigorous process to be assessed as a competent Conformity Assessment Body. We offer Quality Management System (QMS) certification to ISO 9001 through audits performed by our qualified ISO Lead Auditors.
