No company is bulletproof—not even the Pentagon or CIA. Everyone has been hacked at some point. While we might expect these organisations to be leaders in cybersecurity, we understand that it requires targeted effort required to do that work. That's what has changed the game.
Cristiano Pires
Executive Director
It’s not about what we find, it’s about how we deal with what we find. If the system’s broken from an audit finding, it means it’s broken for the business. It means it needs improving.

ISO 27001 Frequently asked questions
ISO 27001:2022 is the international standard for an information security management system (ISMS) used to manage the security of assets such as financial information, intellectual property, employee details, and information entrusted by third parties.
ISO 27001:2022 certification is suitable for organisations of any size or sector that seek to improve information security, exhibit a commitment to data protection, and ensure regulatory compliance.
The benefits of achieving ISO 27001:2022 certification include enhanced information security, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, increased credibility and trust with customers and partners, and a competitive advantage in the marketplace.
To begin the certification process, your organisation needs to implement an information security management system (ISMS) that complies with ISO 27001:2022 requirements. This involves designing and implementing processes and procedures that address risk management, asset protection, and incident response to secure your information assets.
The ISO 27001 certification process involves two stages: Stage 1 is a documentation review, and Stage 2 is an onsite audit. Following your initial certification, your auditor will return for a surveillance audit in years 2 and 3, followed by a re-certification audit the following year to commence the cycle again.
